Vanek Whiskey Events provides premium whiskey experiences that entertain guests at corporate and private functions. Our unique online events, Whiskey: A Deconstructed Experience, and a Tutored Whiskey Tasting, enlighten the most discerning of participants, while our contemporary approach to exploring the spirit not only demystifies the world of whiskey, but helps guests better understand how they perceive flavour. Developed with the connoisseur and enthusiast in mind, these events do not require any special knowledge.
Vanek Whiskey Events’ tastings have nothing “virtual” about them. They include a variety of fun, interactive experiments that are designed to encourage deep participant engagement, as well as a discussion on how whiskey is produced, the differences between styles, how to read between the lines of a whiskey label and debunking various whiskey myths. Prior to the event guests will receive two home deliveries, one of their event whiskey and the second, a premium event kit packed with all the tools and supplies needed to release their inner scientist, beautifully packaged in a tissue paper lined box and complete with a personalized welcome note.

Whiskey: A Deconstructed Experience
Vanek Whiskey Events has reimagined the traditional whiskey tasting to leverage the special opportunities presented by an online venue. Open to guests both across Canada and around the world, this event explores the many ways whiskey is enjoyed, giving participants the perfect opportunity to identify, and fine-tune their own preferred method of drinking this popular spirit.
Guests will gain new insight by comparing the impact that ice, dilution, temperature, glass shape, club soda and time have on a whiskey’s flavour, by contrasting that with the same whiskey served neat. Through this innovative, side-by-side comparison of drinking styles, participants will realize that how you drink your whiskey can be as important, or even more important than the brand of whiskey you drink.
This decadence of experimenting with whiskey is only possible with enough whiskey to do so, and participants will have that when they receive their 375 mL, or 750 mL bottle for the event with plenty left over to enjoy afterwards.
Tutored Whiskey Tasting
A tutored whiskey tasting is the classic way to enjoy a whiskey tasting event. Open to guests across Canada, it involves sampling several different whiskeys and comparing the flavours experienced with each. Guests also participate in some exciting sensory experiments using both whiskey and other interesting edibles such as chocolate and malted barley, that combined may just cause them to look at how they experience flavour in a whole new way.
